Overview:
Working out of our heavy haul trailer plant in Keswick Ontario, the Design Engineer identifies and develops new designs and/or improve the characteristics of existing products to meet and exceed customer specifications, industry and federal/provincial regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to perform within a fast paced, custom fabrication environment.
Deliverables:
- Utilize full potential of design software and support any improvements that can improve and/or automate the design process.
- Look for and propose potential quality or productivity enhancements.
- Be aware of departmental objectives and provide regular support in achieving these objectives.

Position Criteria:
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDM/Vault, CADLink / Similar CAD ERP link tool , Familiar with Epicor ERP System, Microsoft Office products
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with 2D and 3D SolidWorks and CAD programs.
- Understanding of the manufacturing process and what it takes for GINCOR WERX to be successful.
- Familiar with transportation industry standards and the pertinent provincial and federal regulations as it pertains the design of TRAILERS.
- Creative design tendencies with a drive to make things better by solving problems and challenging the status quo.
- Able to work under minimal supervision while ensuring production, management and other related personnel are aware of the project timelines and the impact on current and future designs.
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Diploma in Engineering Technology.
- Be familiar with competitor’s products and bring forward potential design improvements regularly.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Manufacturing Expectation
- Assess damage on truck components requiring repair. This can include dump bodies, Lift gates and Back up Cameras, Utility trailers and other vocational trucks.
- Performing standard service repairs to the truck bodies and trailers of our customers with minimal supervision
- Performing electrical wiring tasks, some complex in nature on the vehicles
- Use of a variety hand and pneumatic tools to disassemble and install truck bodies to truck chassis.
- Use of overhead cranes as required.
- Use portable hand tools and measuring equipment consistent with industry standards.
- Use various welding and cutting equipment including mig, tig, plasma and oxy/acetylene.
- The ability to weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
- Wheelbase lengthening and Shortening.
- Truck frame length modifications.
- Ensure fit, finish and function to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Perform inspection of your own work.
- Complete Quality Inspection Documentation as required.

Job Summary:
The Purchasing Manager will oversee the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate and select Supplier based on quality, cost and reliability criteria.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiations, bulk purchases, or alternative sourcing strategies.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
- Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage.
- Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts.

- Operates valves on equipment to regulate pressure and composition of blast mixture flowing through nozzle
- Manually directs nozzle and controls flow of blast over surface of trucks or parts to achieve desired result
- Examines finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers with part information inquiries
- Provide customers guidance on part selection
- Prepare customer part quotes using designated software

Based in our Blenheim branch location, we have an opportunity for a Senior Production Manager to provide leadership and direction ensuring the consistent implementation of our procedures in connection with the manufacturing and up-fitting operations and increased market share in the marketplace.
Responsibilities include:
